先週からずっと 体調崩しております。

We three have all been sick since last week.
旦那はまだ咳。
Husband is coughing.
私は頭痛。
I’m still suffering from a headache.
娘は胃腸の調子が悪い。
And Daughter is having a gastric flu.
よく見ると、周りもそんな人がいっぱい❓
今、体調崩してる人 多いんですねー。
Actually, I find so many people around us with similar symptoms.

そんな週明け、月曜日 の事
3人の個人レッスンの生徒さんのうち、
二人が体調不良。
By the way, I usually have tree private lessons on Mondays, but last Monday two students out of the three were absent.
まず、朝一にラインが来て
熱があるのでおやすみします。
I got a message from one student in the morning, telling me that she had a fever,
Then I got one more from the other in the afternoon.
そして、夕方 レッスン直前に
また、別の生徒さん、ドタキャンの連絡。
It was actually a message from the student’s mother that her son couldn’t attend the class because he had a headache.
頭痛がするので、
休みます。とのこと。
That’s when I made a big mistake!
この二つ目のメッセージの時のこと
たまたま、その直前まで
家族ラインでやり取りしていたのですが…
I happened to be chatting on Line with my family then.
And!
I sent a wrong message to the student’s mother by mistake!
I went,
I’m bored .
I have Nothing to do.
Gonna stay home till 7.
私、間違えて、家族へのつもりで
生徒さんのお母様にメッセージを送ってしまいました。
こんな感じの内容。
暇だー。
七時まで家にいます。
お母様、多分 ナンジャコリャ❓❓
と、不審に思われただろうなあ。
Oh, no…
She must have wondered what I was talking about and got astounded.
しばらくしてから 再度
そのお母様からメッセージが。
After a little while, I got a reply from her.
承知しました。
急で申し訳ありません。
I understand.
I am sorry for the last-minute cancellation.
え❓❓
で、全てを把握した私
焦りまくりました。
Then I realized what I had done.
I was in panic!
とりあえず 返信して、謝罪。
I texted back to her right away, to apologize for the wrong message.
大変失礼しました。
間違えてしまいました。
…なんという マヌケさ…
自分のアホさに呆れました。
How careless I was…
I just couldn’t believe that.
実は、送信相手間違えたの、
これまでにもありました。
幸い 大事にはならずに済んでいたけど…
To tell the truth, I have done similar mistakes before.
But luckily I haven’t got into such serious trouble so far, until then.
This time I did that again, to the student’s mother!
She probably thinks me very rude!
また、やってしまった。
しかも、なんとも失礼なことに、
生徒さんのお母様に…
あーあ、
なんという、おっちょこちょい…
I am such a dumb.
I really regret my carelessness.
反省…。
今や プチってやれば
即連絡が取れる便利な時代。
Now it’s the time of SNS.
We can get in touch with people world wide within a blink, literally at a fingertip.
でも、それだけに、
うち間違えて、大変なことになる
それを身にしみました。
However, mistakes can happen very easily because of its speedy and convenient features.
通信手段が電話しかなかった時代は
こんなドジ なかったんだろうなあ。
Maybe there were much fewer of such problems in the days when the telephone was the main tool for communication.
いや、その前に
手紙の時代は もっと気配りして
丁寧にメッセージを書いていたはず。
Or it would be even more so, when letters were the only means.
なんでも、早く、広く
繋がれる時代。
As we depend greaty on the usefulness of SNS, we are becoming less conscious of the importance of communication, I think.
コミニュケーションへの気配りが
なくなってるような気がする。
I now reckon that we should once again consider and value the significance of communication.
そう、思いました。
